350 Crank Shot
(My motor lost a Connecting Rod @ 6,000 RPM)

You can see that the crank & cylinder wall (block) are missing chunks of material. Once the cylinder wall was punctured, water/antifreeze poured into the oil pan... This is why you see the surface rust...

A connecting rod failed @ 6,000 RPM. When I pulled the oil pan, this is what I saw... chunks of the crank, block & cylinder walls were missing...
