It took some thought of how I was going to drop the sub-frame by myself. luckily I had purchased a restoration handbook and it mentioned using a floor jack and a 2X4 under the cross-member then lowering the sub-frame. The book was correct, it made a big difference. I had the frame dipped into a acid solution to remove all paint, grease & grime
