Two different types of trunk spatter paint were used: early cars seemed to have gray/white, and later had black/aqua.

Molded rubber trunk mats were included the Custom interior option.  The 1967 and 1968 trunk mats were the same; 1969 was different. Hardtop mats were different from convertible due to the cocktail shakers mounted in convertible trunks.

All 1967 -1969 Camaros had at least one decal on the underneath of the trunk lid. Decals used were jacking instructions, positraction, and spare tire locking instructions.

Items offered in the trunk were highway emergency kit, fire extinguisher, and liquid tire chain (1969 only).

A highway emergency kit consists of flares, a fire extinguisher, a "dayglo" flag, fuses, and tire puncture inflator/sealer.

All trunks came with a spare tire; space saver spare was an option.

All trunk weatherstrip was the same for the first generation.

All convertibles came with a cocktail shaker (weight ballast) in each corner of the trunk.

All jacks were dated with a code on the center rivet. All trunks came with a jack base, lug wrench handle and jack assembly.

The 1969 Endura bumper jack hook was different from the standard 1969. Load rest brackets (jack hooks) were dated and therefore different for each year.
